Paul Kimmel

Paul L. Kimmel, MD, is a Professor of Medicine and Division Chief of Nephrology at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC, where he has been on staff since 1983. He obtained his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine training at Bellevue Hospital. Dr. Kimmel is the author of numerous articles in clinical nephrology and dialysis, with recent research focusing on the interactions among depression, serum cytokine levels, and outcomes in ESRD patients.
