Paul Kerswill

Paul Kerswill is a British sociolinguist and FBA (Fellow of the British Academy) specializing in language variation and change, with expertise in phonetic, grammatical, and discourse variation. He has been a professor in the Department of Language and Linguistic Science at the University of York since January 2012, following prior appointments as a professor at Lancaster University (from 2004) and a lecturer at the University of Reading.
