Paul Hunt

Paul Hunt was a disabled writer and activist who became a founding member of the Union of the Physically Impaired Against Segregation (UPIAS) and a key figure in the early disability rights movement in Britain. He is widely regarded as an important contributor to the social model of disability, and he died in 1979.
