Paul Hawken
Paul Hawken is an environmentalist, entrepreneur, author, and activist who began his career in the 1960s by founding Erewhon, one of the first natural food companies in the US relying on sustainable agriculture, and later co-founding Smith & Hawken in 1979.[1][3][4] He is renowned for advocating corporate ecological reform through influential books like *The Ecology of Commerce* (1993) and *Drawdown* (2017), and for founding Project Drawdown to research solutions to reverse global warming.[2][5][6] Hawken has consulted with CEOs and heads of state on sustainability, industrial ecology, and environmental policy.[3][6]
