Patrick Rothfuss

Patrick Rothfuss is an American author best known for The Kingkiller Chronicle series, beginning with his debut novel The Name of the Wind (2007), which won the Quill Award. He studied at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, earning an English degree after years of exploring various majors, and later earned a master's degree in English literature. His second novel, The Wise Man's Fear (2011), debuted at #1 on The New York Times bestseller list.
