Patrick Moore
Patrick Moore was a British amateur astronomer, writer, and long-running television presenter best known for hosting BBC’s The Sky at Night from 1957 until his death in 2012. He wrote more than seventy books, largely on astronomy, and played a major role in popularizing astronomy for the public.
