Patrick du Val (1903–1987) was a British mathematician known for his work in algebraic geometry, differential geometry, and general relativity. He was educated through correspondence study, earned a B.Sc. with first-class honors from the University of London, and later completed a Ph.D. at Cambridge under H. F. Baker.
