Patricia Ferguson

Patricia Ferguson is a British novelist and short-story writer who trained in nursing and midwifery before turning to fiction. Her debut novel, "Family Myths and Legends," won the Betty Trask, David Higham, and Somerset Maugham awards, and she has also had novels longlisted for the Orange Prize. She lives in Bristol and has taught creative writing at the University of Bristol.[1][2][3]
