Patricia Evans is an internationally recognized Interpersonal Communications Specialist and the bestselling author of five books on verbal abuse, including The Verbally Abusive Relationship and Verbal Abuse Survivors Speak Out[1][5]. She single-handedly brought the subject of verbal abuse to the forefront of American consciousness, starting with her landmark book published in 1992[5][7].
