Pat Schories

Pat Schories, born in 1952 in Batavia, New York, is a children's book author and illustrator best known for her work on the Biscuit early reader series by Alyssa Satin Capucilli, published by HarperCollins. She grew up in Ohio, earned a B.F.A. from Kent State University in 1974, and has worked as a freelance graphic designer and botanical illustrator. Her childhood passions for outdoor activities and art continue into adulthood, complemented by gardening, hiking, and fiddle camps with her musician husband.
