Kevin Mitnick was an American computer security consultant, author, and former hacker known as 'the world's most famous hacker' after being placed on the FBI's Most Wanted list in the 1980s and 1990s for hacking major corporations.[1][2] Arrested in 1995, he served five years in prison for computer crimes and fraud before becoming a security expert, founding Mitnick Security in 2003, and co-authoring books like 'Ghost in the Wires' and 'The Art of Deception.'[1][2]
