Parker Po-fei Huang
Parker Po-fei Huang was a distinguished Chinese-American professor, poet, and pioneer in Chinese language studies at Yale University, where he helped establish the field in the United States. He authored numerous poems, poetry collections, and educational works, including the first Cantonese textbook and dictionary, 'Speak Cantonese'. Huang died on January 25, 2022, at the age of 94 at his home in Pasadena, California.
