P Tony Jackson
Tony Jackson (1882–1921) was an influential American pianist, singer, and composer from New Orleans, known for his vast repertoire and improvisational skills. He mentored jazz figures like Jelly Roll Morton and wrote the 1916 hit 'Pretty Baby,' though he never recorded his music before dying in 1921. Jackson is recognized as an openly gay pioneer in early 20th-century popular music.
