Dr. P. S. G. Kumar is a prolific Indian author and expert in library and information science, having authored approximately 70 books and 142 papers, including major works like Indian Library Chronology, Indian Encyclopedia of Library and Information Science (23 volumes), Kumar’s Curriculum Series (16 volumes), and Library in India Series (10 volumes). He holds a distinguished academic career with a first-class BSc (Ag), MLibSc, and a doctorate from Gulbarga University. Kumar also wrote an autobiography titled Light and Shades of My Life, detailing his early life, education, teaching career, and professional journey in librarianship.
