P. Kern

Christian Gottlob Kern (1792–1835) was a German Lutheran pastor, theological tutor, preacher, and professor. He studied theology at Tübingen and served in several clerical posts in Württemberg, including pastor of Dürrmenz-Mühlacker, where he died. His hymns appeared mainly in Knapp’s Christoterpe and were later translated into English.
