Oyinkan Braithwaite

Oyinkan Braithwaite is a Nigerian-British novelist and writer born in Lagos, Nigeria, in 1988, who grew up between London and Nigeria. She is best known for her debut novel 'My Sister, the Serial Killer' (2018), a horror-tinged crime thriller that was shortlisted for the Women's Prize and longlisted for the Booker Prize. Her latest novel, 'Cursed Daughters' (2025), explores themes of family curses and female identity.
