Owasp Foundation

The OWASP Foundation, part of the Open Worldwide Application Security Project (OWASP), is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving software security through open-source resources, tools, education, and community collaboration. OWASP began as an informal community in 2001, formalized by Mark Curphey, and the Foundation was officially established on April 21, 2004, in Delaware by Jeff Williams and Dave Wichers.[1][2][3]
