Orrin W. Robinson

Orrin W. Robinson is an American philologist and former Professor Emeritus of German at Stanford University, specializing in Germanic linguistics and author of 'Old English and Its Closest Relatives'. He earned his B.A. from Stanford in 1968 and his Ph.D. in linguistics from Cornell in 1972, and his research focuses on English, German, and Germanic language studies.
