Oonya Kempadoo

Oonya Kempadoo is a Caribbean novelist born in England to Guyanese parents, who grew up in Guyana and has lived and worked across several Caribbean islands as well as in Europe and Canada. She is known for novels such as Buxton Spice and Tide Running, and she has won the Casa de las Américas Prize.
