Odo Blundell
Frederick Odo Blundell (1868–1943) was a Benedictine monk at Fort Augustus Monastery in the Scottish Highlands who became a pioneering archaeologist specializing in crannogs (artificial islands). Born Frances Blundell in Lancashire, he was ordained in 1896 and conducted extensive research on Highland crannogs, including innovative diving investigations, while also publishing works on Scottish Catholic architecture and history.
