O S Fowler
Orson Squire Fowler (1809–1887) was an American phrenologist, lecturer, author, and publisher who became one of the leading promoters of phrenology in the 19th century. He also advocated social reforms such as women’s rights, abolition, and child labor laws, and helped popularize the octagon house as an architectural form.
