Norman Okello

Norman Okello is a young man from northern Uganda who was abducted by the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) at age twelve and forced to become a child soldier. His memoir, 'In the Service of the Lord's Army,' documents his experiences of severe hardships and his struggle to maintain his humanity while serving as a harbinger of death for the rebel group. He later pursued education and career development, including studies in horticulture.
