Norma Evenson

Norma Evenson was an architectural and urban historian who taught the history of architecture and cities at the UC Berkeley College of Environmental Design from 1963 to 1993.[1] She authored pioneering books on urban planning, including Chandigarh (1966), Two Brazilian Capitals (1973), Paris: A Century of Change, 1878-1978 (1979), and The Indian Metropolis (1989).[1] Evenson died on June 7, 2021, in the Washington DC area at the age of 92.[1]
