Norbert Wiener
Norbert Wiener (1894–1964) was an American mathematician best known as the founder of cybernetics, the study of communication and control in animals and machines. He made major contributions to mathematics, including work on stochastic processes, Brownian motion, harmonic analysis, and prediction theory.
