Nora Ephron

Nora Ephron was an American journalist, author, and filmmaker known for her sharp wit and insightful commentary on modern life. She wrote best-selling essay collections and novels, but gained greatest fame as the screenwriter and director of romantic comedies such as 'When Harry Met Sally...', 'Sleepless in Seattle', and 'Julie & Julia'. Her memoir 'Heartburn' chronicled the end of her marriage to journalist Carl Bernstein.
