Nigel Nicolson was an English writer, publisher, and politician best known for *Portrait of a Marriage*, a biography of his parents, Harold Nicolson and Vita Sackville-West. He also co-founded Weidenfeld & Nicolson, served as a Member of Parliament, and wrote books on history, politics, and biography.
