Nicola McLelland
Nicola McLelland is a Professor of German and History of Linguistics at the University of Nottingham, where she has worked since 2005 in the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures.[1][2] She studied German and French at the University of Sydney, earned a PhD in medieval German literature after a DAAD scholarship in Bonn, and completed an MPhil in Linguistics at the University of Cambridge.[1] She previously held a post at Trinity College Dublin and currently serves as President of the Association for German Studies in the UK and Ireland.[1]
