Nghia M. Vo

Nghia M. Vo is a Vietnamese-American retired physician, independent researcher of Vietnamese history and culture, and co-founder of the nonprofit Saigon Arts, Culture & Education Institute. He fled Vietnam in April 1975 after the fall of Saigon, endured a harrowing boat journey, and resettled in the United States where he rebuilt his life as a medical doctor in Virginia. Vo has authored multiple books on Vietnamese culture and history, including Saigon: A History, The Vietnamese Boat People, and the dual memoir My Vietnam, Your Vietnam with his daughter Christina Vo.
