Newell Dwight Hillis
Newell Dwight Hillis (1858-1929) was a Congregationalist minister, writer, and philosopher from Brooklyn who served as pastor of Plymouth Church of the Pilgrims for 25 years. Over his lifetime, he delivered approximately 3,500 lectures and published several books on religious and patriotic subjects, establishing himself as one of the leading Protestant ministers in the country.
