Neil Price

Neil Price is a distinguished professor and chair of archaeology at Uppsala University in Sweden, specializing in the Viking Age, pre-Christian religions of the North, and historical archaeology of the Indo-Pacific region.[2][3] He has researched, taught, and written on the Vikings for nearly 35 years, authoring acclaimed books such as *Children of Ash and Elm*, and has conducted fieldwork in over 40 countries.[1][4][6] Educated at UCL London, York, and Uppsala, he previously taught at universities including Aberdeen, Stockholm, and Oslo.[3][4]
