Neil F. Comins
Neil F. Comins is an American astrophysicist, astronomer, professor of physics and astronomy at the University of Maine, and author of over 21 books on astronomy and space.[1][2][4] Born in New York City in 1951, he developed an early interest in gravity and matter, proposed string theory ideas in high school, and earned degrees including a B.S. in Engineering Physics from Cornell, M.S. from University of Maryland, and Ph.D. in Astrophysics.[1][3] His research includes general relativity, galaxy modeling at NASA, and numerous publications, alongside science writing since 1980.[1][4]
