Nehdowes (Randy A. John)

Nëhdöwes Randy A. John is an enrolled member of the Onöndowa'ga:' (Seneca Nation) and a member of the Hadinyahdë:h (Turtle Clan), who was given the traditional Onondowa'ga name Nehdowes by clan mother Nettie Watt. He holds a doctorate of philosophy and has served as Curator at the Onöhsagwë:de' Cultural Center. John is an author specializing in Seneca history and culture, with works including 'Seneca Nation Cultural and Historical Insights,' a selection of traditional Seneca stories for children, and genealogical research on Seneca individuals.[1][2][3][4][5]
