Natsuki Takaya

Natsuki Takaya (real name Nana Hatake) is a Japanese manga artist best known for creating the bestselling shōjo series Fruits Basket, which debuted in 1998 and became hugely popular worldwide. Born on July 7, 1973, in Shizuoka, Japan, and raised in Tokyo, she made her professional debut in 1992 with 'Born Free' in Hana to Yume magazine. Her other works include Phantom Dream, Tsubasa: Those with Wings, and Liselotte and the Witch's Forest.
