National Safety Council
The National Safety Council (NSC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1913, dedicated to eliminating preventable deaths and injuries in workplaces, on roadways, and in communities.[1][2] Headquartered in Itasca, Illinois, it was granted a congressional charter in 1953 and serves over 55,000 members including businesses, schools, and public agencies through training, advocacy, and community efforts.[1]
