Nancy Martin
Nancy Martin, born in 1953, is an American author of over 48 novels in mystery, suspense, historical, and romance genres, best known for creating the Blackbird Sisters Mysteries series in 2002 about impoverished Main Line heiresses solving crimes. A winner of the RT Book Reviews Lifetime Achievement award for mystery writing, she began her career as an English teacher in Pennsylvania before becoming a full-time writer while raising her two daughters. She splits her time between Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Florida, and has served on the board of Sisters in Crime as a founding member of Pennwriters.
