Nancy Furstinger
Nancy Furstinger is an American author of nearly 100 books, primarily children's literature with a focus on animals, and a passionate advocate for animal rescue and rights. Born in Passaic, New Jersey, she earned a B.A. in English from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1980 summa cum laude, began her career as a newspaper reporter and magazine editor, and later transitioned to freelance writing after working in children's publishing.[1][2][4][6]
