Nancy Farmer
Nancy Farmer is an American author of children's and young adult literature born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1941. She has written numerous acclaimed novels including The House of the Scorpion, which won the National Book Award for Young People's Literature, and has received three Newbery Honor awards. Her work often draws from her extensive international experience, including time spent in the Peace Corps in India and living in Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
