Murray Ball

Murray Hone Ball was a New Zealand cartoonist best known for creating the long-running comic strip Footrot Flats, as well as Stanley the Palaeolithic Hero and Bruce the Barbarian. His work was widely published internationally, and Footrot Flats became a major cultural success in New Zealand, spawning a film, stage musical, and merchandise.
