Msgr Robert Hugh Benson

Robert Hugh Benson (1871–1914) was an English Catholic priest and prolific writer, the youngest son of Edward White Benson, Archbishop of Canterbury. Initially ordained as an Anglican priest in 1895, he converted to Roman Catholicism in 1903 and was ordained a Catholic priest in 1904, later becoming a monsignor in 1911. He is best known for his dystopian novel *Lord of the World* (1907) and other works exploring faith and morality.[1][3][4]
