Morgan 1862-1936 Callaway
Morgan Callaway, Jr. (1862-1936) was an American scholar, professor of English at the University of Texas at Austin, and author of works on Anglo-Saxon language such as 'The Infinitive in Anglo-Saxon' and 'The Appositive Participle in Anglo-Saxon.'[1][2][4][6] Born on November 3, 1862, in Cuthbert, Georgia, to Morgan and Eliza Mary (Hinton) Callaway, he made significant contributions to the study of English linguistics and literature.[6]
