Monica Dickens

Monica Dickens (1915–1992) was a British author and the great-granddaughter of Charles Dickens, known for her semi-autobiographical works about her experiences as a domestic servant, nurse, and factory worker. She gained widespread fame for her children's 'Follyfoot' series, which was adapted into a popular ITV television show, and wrote over fifty books including novels, memoirs, and children's literature.
