Mojang AB

Mojang AB (trading as Mojang Studios) is a Swedish video game developer founded in May 2009 by Markus Persson, best known for creating the sandbox game Minecraft, the best-selling video game of all time. The company was acquired by Microsoft in September 2014 for $2.5 billion and operates as a subsidiary of Xbox Game Studios, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.
