Mohammad Ayoub Khan

Mohammad Ayub Khan (1907-1974) was a Pakistani military ruler and the third President of Pakistan from 1958 to 1969. He imposed martial law in 1958, ousted President Iskander Mirza, and implemented various administrative and economic reforms including agrarian reforms and a 'basic democracies' system. His rule ended following political turmoil after Pakistan's failure to secure Kashmir in the 1965 war with India.
