Modern Curriculum Press
Modern Curriculum Press (MCP) was an educational materials publisher founded in Berea, Ohio, in 1963 by Alice Lorenz-Baer to provide reading programs for kindergarten through third grade emphasizing phonetic word-attack skills.[1] It later expanded to include mathematics and other subjects using traditional drill-and-practice formats.[2] As of 2006, its textbooks continued to be published under the MCP imprint by Pearson.[1]
