Miriam Rothschild

Dame Miriam Louisa Rothschild (1908–2005) was a British natural scientist and author known for major contributions to zoology, entomology, and botany. She was especially renowned for her work on fleas, butterflies, and chemical communication in insects, and published more than 300 scientific papers.
