Min Jin Lee

Min Jin Lee is a Korean American author born in Seoul, South Korea, who immigrated to Queens, New York at age seven and is best known for her novels Free Food for Millionaires (2007) and Pachinko (2017), a National Book Award finalist that explores the Korean diaspora. She holds a BA from Yale University and a JD from Georgetown University, practiced law briefly before turning to writing, and currently teaches fiction at Amherst College while living in Harlem, New York City.
