Milo Manara

Milo Manara, born Maurilio Manara on September 12, 1945, in Luson, South Tyrol, Italy, is an acclaimed Italian comic book writer and artist renowned for his precise linework, sensual female figures, and fusion of eroticism with narrative storytelling. Initially studying architecture, he debuted in comics in 1969 with Genius and gained international fame through collaborations with Hugo Pratt on Indian Summer (1983), Federico Fellini on Viaggio a Tulum, and later projects like The Sandman: Endless Nights with Neil Gaiman. His works, including Giuseppe Bergman, The Game, and Caravaggio, have elevated comics to fine art, with exhibitions worldwide.
