Mike Peyton
Mike Peyton (20 January 1921 – 25 January 2017) was a British cartoonist renowned as 'the world’s greatest yachting cartoonist' and dubbed 'the Picasso of sailing' by the Yachting Journalist Association[1][4]. He served in the Army during World War II, was imprisoned, escaped to fight with the Russian Red Army, and later trained at Manchester Art School before publishing over 18 books of yachting cartoons[4].
