Michelle Edwards

Michelle Edwards is an award-winning author and illustrator of numerous children's picture books, including *A Hat for Mrs. Goldman*, which received four starred reviews, and *Chicken Man*, winner of the National Jewish Book Award, as well as the adult knitting title *A Knitter’s Home Companion*. She grew up in Troy, New York, graduated from the University of Iowa's printmaking program, and now lives in Iowa City, Iowa.[1][2][3][5]
