Michael Tennesen

Michael Tennesen is a science writer who has published more than 300 stories in journals including Discover, Scientific American, New Scientist, National Wildlife, Audubon, Science, and Smithsonian.[1][3][5] He authored the book The Next Species: The Future of Evolution in the Aftermath of Man, published by Simon & Schuster, exploring the future of evolution post-human impact.[3][5] Tennesen serves as Writer-in-Residence at the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies in Millbrook, New York, and Media Fellow at Duke University's Nicholas School of the Environment.[3]
